    		•  The Biomonitor  has  five independent  sections  to  monitor  each  of   the   basic  medical   parameters.  The   technical  specifications  of  each  of   the  sections  is  as  follows: 
     1) Pulse Monitor 
  •  Measurement  method  :  Opto-electronic finger plethysmography;
  • Range :  20 to 250  beats per minute
  • Pulse Rhythm : By LED flashes and electronic beeper
  • Heart Rate Indication : By 3-digit digital meter. 

    • 2) Respiration Monitor 
  • Measurement Method: Semiconductor elastic sensor on chest
  • Range : 5 to 200 beats per minute 
  • Respiration Rhythm : By LED flashes and electronic beeper
  •  Respiration Rate Indication: By 3-digit digital meter. 

    • 3) Temperature Monitor 
  • Measurement Method : Semiconductor Sensor kept in mouth/armpit
  • Range : 20  to  40 degrees Celsius.

    • 4)  Blood Pressure Monitor 
  • Measurement Method: Electronic adaptation of RIVA-ROCCI principle
  • Range : 20 to 300 mm/Hg 
  • Systolic Indication : LED flashes in B.P .meter and beeps start 
  • Diastolic Indication : LED flashes in B.P. meter and beeps stop

    • 5) Electronic Stethoscope 
  • Measurement Method : Electronic HIR sound transducer 
  • Filters  :  2-way Low/High pitch electronic filters 
  • Outputs: Audio output on binaural earphone : Provision for connection to external speaker system, tape recorder, monitor scope or ECG recorder.

    Common Specifications 
  • Function Selector: Any ONE of the three :- Heart Rate, Respiration Rate, Temperature can be selected on digital meter using the push-button  selector switch. Along with the above, both  Electronic B.P. Monitor and Electronic Stethoscope can be  used simultaneously.
